Thousands of Canadians from coast-to-coast tune in to watch Linda demo the latest sewing, quilting and embroidery technologies as a frequent guest on The Shopping Channel. As Educational Consultant for Janome Canada Ltd., Linda travels the world to teach and inspire the next generation of sewists. Linda is a graduate of Ryerson University's School Fashion Design and in a career spanning over 40 years, she has worked as a fashion designer, managed her own custom sewing business and created in-store samples for Domcord Belding and Butterick and Vogue Patterns. Whether she is creating evening and bridal wear or upholstering furniture, Linda's talent is matched only by her passion to share the joy of sewing.
Certified Management Accountant by day-Quilting Queen by night! Anna not only brings her business savvy to The Sewing Cafe, she proves that busy 'corporate' types aren't required to abandon their creative side when they enter the workforce. A self-taught sewist, petite Anna started making her own clothes when she couldn't find ready-made clothes that fit her frame or her unique sense of style. Anna's sewing skills continued to evolve as she seamlessly transitioned to wife and mom. From creating adorable kids wear to mastering draperies and home décor and ultimately quilting - Anna has literally been there - sewn that! As co-owner of and teacher at The Sewing Cafe, Anna believes that the first sewing skill people really need to develop is their confidence and she is looking forward to helping students every stitch of the way.
